Twisted Bit Woodworking was founded by artisan Gary Passanante in 2020. Our mission statement is quite simple. “To produce the highest quality, custom wood based products for your home or office”. From a youngster, Gary always loved to build things. He probably inherited his “handiness” from his father, a master automotive mechanic and his uncle who was a self-taught, but very skilled handyman/woodworker. While Gary never pursued woodworking as a profession, his love for the art never waned.
As he began plans for his retirement years, he wanted to do stay busy by doing something that was a complete departure from his multiple careers in the corporate and public service worlds.
His decades of experience working at a large corporate giant, operating his own multi-media company and finally serving as Mayor of his community for 28 years, taught him discipline, organization, finance and patience.
Now, Gary applies those skills, along with his computer and graphic arts ability to create unique, artisan quality, wood products that are beautiful, functional and reasonably priced. In addition to his portfolio of stock items, he can accommodate most customized requests as well.
